This one comes with props to Motorcycle Mojo Magazine. I came across this in their social media section. It's a Redbull video titled "Ice Speedway Racing - Mikkel B. Jensen & Franz Zorn 2013".
Take speedway racing, dangerous enough as it is, now add ice, and inch-low nails. The result? More danger and fun at high speeds. In this video, professional speedway racer Mikkel Jensen gets taught the what's-what of ice speedway racing by the legendary Franz Zorn.
Check out the video and fun facts about ice speedway racing you probably never knew!

borile b350en - the mysterious one
From the land of beautiful cars and fast women: Borile.it
Written and directed by Happy G.
It's been almost two weeks since we last heard from Happy. He's sent in another post about the "gourmet" Italian motorcycle brand, Borile. Would "boutique" motorcycle brand be a better term than "gourmet"? Yes, but we're going to stick with it, because these things are delicious. Without further ado...
Another model with no listed price! The lack of price can likely be justified by the lack of photos and the general lack of availability as this model isn’t officially released yet. The site hints at an Enduro type bike, and an ultra-sexy large front wheel with a gold rim is sticking out under the Borile cover.
The description for this bike says that it is designed for the not-so-young off-road enthusiast, which I read as being expensive and stylish without really having the components to take the abuse of jumps, woops and thick mud. I’m going to go out on a limb here and also get it is air-cooled, carbureted and has a single-cylinder. Now that may sound barbaric and uninspiring but the simpler the machinery, the more likely it is to withstand a hard fall. As an interesting closing note the site claims that the final product will have a seat adjustable to two positions to better fit riders.

the build: interactive film
Imagine a website which was made entirely of videos about motorcycle building. I'm not talking a website with lots of videos on it, I mean the site is an actual playing video. It's similar to what you see when you throw a DVD in the player, menus are interactive and link to different video clips, and the whole background is video. I'm not the most current on new interwebs technology, but this is a really cool concept.
Add the fact the video and all of it's "special features" are about motorcycle builders and the culture of motorcycle building over in Portland, Oregon, and you've got a winner. Check out the video, because it's right here in your face, but then do yourself a favor: This isn't a motorcycle video meant to be watched on a blog, it's meant to be watched in full screen on the maker's website, and if you can spare some time, and I know you can, it's Monday, than check it out on thebuildfilm.com

borile b500 cr - the legend
From the land of beautiful cars and fast women: Borile.it
Written and directed by Happy G.
The last time we heard from resident guest blogger (is that an oxymoron?) Happy G. he was talking about two rare motorcycles made by a small Italian manufacturer created in the 1980s called Borile.
You can read about the Borile B500Ricki and B450 Scrambler or just keep on reading to learn about the Borile B500 CR - or what we call The Legend.
