Just received an email and update from Clay. He recently finished a 1967 Triumph TR6C bobber for a dude from SoCal. It’s called 40 miles to Vegas. I’ve been there. Half-asleep at the wheel. It was good being 21 and having a handful of pills I bought from some dude at a truckstop in Barstow. Don’t pretend you’ve never been there.
Building a rep off bikes like this one seems like a good bet. Seems Clay is moving to Florida, too. Some day. My bet is he ends up 250 miles away just because.
