governernor buddy roemer says it like it is: amend the constitution

in front of the senate judiciary subcommittee on the constitution, civil rights and human rights.

while buddy was once a republican congressman in d.c., his speech was not heard by any republican on the subcommittee, as they decided to take the day off.

see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil, right monkey?

buddy is right on, and even too generous in his speech. the sunlight reference is wonderful. reminds me of chapter 30 of the book of isaiah:

“the sunlight will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven full days, when the lord binds up the bruises of his people and heals the wounds he inflicted.”
