xs400 bobber in the works

our hungarian motorcycle journalist friend arpad sent me a photo over the weekend of a bike he said was being built. i noticed the watermarked logo as that of the master szakal’s shop, art deco motorcycling. here is the donor bike:

the bike had yamaha fzr250 wheels with a cagiva mito seat panel and a jawa headlight. here is the bike a day later:

according to arpad, “it will be not exactly a bobber. a little bit dirt bike, a little bit vintage racer and a little bit hungarian idiotism!”

sounds great, man!

arpad and i will keep you guys appraised as the build progresses.

  2. I can’t wait to see the process.
