The guys at Visual Imapact have a nice new product for those of you who dig brat-style choppers: The XS650 Brat Kit for the garage builder.
The pipe is made of high-quality D.O.M tubing and each piece has extra material to allow for innumerable custom brat configurations. The kit also includes solid steel plugs machined to fit the frame, plus two plugs to cap off the top rails. Lastly, there are four tabs for shock mounts.
Instead of hacking your metric bike apart, you can run a suspension and be done in a weekend without changing much. Some guys don’t want hard tails and this might be the answer they’ve been looking for.
