today is “easter.” what do eggs and rabbits have to do with the resurrection of christ? they are simple metaphors. they are pagan symbols of fertility and birth. simply because you are told today is the day jesus/yeshua rose from the dead doesn’t mean it is.
i understand that to be a christian one must believe in the death and resurrection of *** as man. otherwise that most magical promise, so often misunderstood and always thought of as literal, is empty.
what if it was not a literal resurrection that occurred, but a spiritual one?
today is a day to contemplate the rebirth we all must come to grips with, a rebirth of our thoughts and actions, lest death grip us permanently.
think for yourselves. don’t be dupes. be vigilant.
