john gatti is a man of few words. when i asked him if he’d send some high resolution photos of his bike, 8½, he replied, “the bike is completely hand built in-house at spider racing. there is a ton to describe i usually just let the pics do the talking.”

so here they are and man, they won’t shut up!

john did tell me the bike was named because it was their eighth bike and it had the single sided frame, or “half a frame.” check out spider racing here.
