triumph t140 bobber | bobbed to the bone

shaun from bobbed to the bone emailed some nice photos of his latest build, a raw and ready 750cc triumph bonneville t140 in a custom 1968 t120 frame.

the bike was built in six weeks from parts shaun had laying around which included a norton front hub he placed on a 19″ borrani rim, a 3″ by 16” alloy rear rim on a conical hub, a wassell tank, and a 1925 model t ford brake light.

the rear fender is from front street cycles and a brass rod was fabricated to finish it off. according to shaun, “it was one of them builds that you just add stuff to as you go. sometimes they look like s**t and some turn out good.”

this one turned out good.

the rest of the parts are made by shaun, including the seat, fender and head light mounts, the battery box, oil tank, foot controls, gas cap, and more.

look out for pix and info of shaun’s killer and gorgeous xs650 bobber soon…
