Italian newspaper La Repubblica may have “accidentally” leaked photos of the upcoming BMW NineT cafe racer concept a little prematurely. They have since removed the page that used to show these images. Fortunately, we found them on Asphalt & Rubber.

Asphalt & Rubber indicated that this may be one of the last BMW models to use the 1,200cc boxer engine. Though a part of me wishes the Bavarian cafe racer did away with the old, maybe it’s not so bad, considering this is meant to be an anniversary bike. Certainly when you look at the headlight, the rear seat cowl, and the gas tank grip you see BMW’s tip of the helmet to the NineT’s heritage.
