welcome and stuff that’s coming

Hey there metric mofos. Thank all of you for coming by and signing up. Our latest member, kevin.udy, signed up a couple of days ago and I’d like to welcome him to our little metric motorcycle madhouse.

When I moved from Bikernet, I lost a lot of readers. Some couldn’t figure out where I went, and a lot of visitors came through the high Google image rankings I’d worked diligently to obtain. I had that site ranked #1 in a handful of searches, including “metric bobbers” and “metric bobber parts.” Even though I was able to take all the content I wrote from the old site, and have added almost 100 new posts. You wouldn’t believe how big the difference is; at least 300 readers a day. Additionally, I was working 80 hours a week on the old site, never drinking beer with my buddies, never sleeping with my woman, and generally being a single-minded machine on four hours of sleep a night. Now, I might put in 40 hours a week. There is less content, less interviews, and less amazing new stuff but my dog isn’t afraid of me any more and the *** is good.

So…. I’ve been working to write a piece for the upcoming el Diablo.  In the meantime, here’s a pic of the FREEDOM or DEATH MACHINE taken last week.

Lastly, we’ve got a nice interview coming up with Dave of Helrich Custom Cycles, so be on the lookout for that.
