v-star bobber 650 by uptown customs

Here’s a 2000 Yamaha V-Star 650 bobber. A lot of frame work was done to the downtube, backbone and more. The manifold was custom made to accept a Keihin carburetor. The 1 3/4″ exhaust,  handlebars, coil/ignition mount, tailight mount, and forward controls are also custom made for the bike. The seat hinge is a Biltwell and the seat was done by Rich Phillips. It sports a two gallon Mustang tank.

A lot more to tell, but it’s for sale for $6,000 by the builder in SoCal, Uptown Customs. They can also chop or bob any metric. Check ’em out here.

New memebers! Lainie and Damian McFadden clicked the button of doom yesterday and became followers of this humble little metric motorcycle blog.

Lainie’s profile is bereft of identifying information, but if you is who I think you is, it’s great to have you around, dear. Let’s get together soon down SoCo. She is so cool that the last time she visited San Francisco, Jello Biafra took her around town.

Damian is a fashion and portrait photographer. You can visit his website here.

Thanks for signing up, people!
