jay nel from south africa emailed some pix and info about an artist who does some amazing metal art made from old automobile parts, using anything he can, from radiator parts to spark plugs, to achieve his masterpieces.

he says the hardest part isn’t making the sculptures, it’s finding proper pieces off the old french and british cars he prefers to use that are suitable for his art.

seems he’s been profiled on popular sites before, and finding decent images of his work isn’t easy, so i won’t bore you with a bunch of details you may already know. suffice to say the guy is famous and his art is fantastic.

here are a few motorcycle-related pieces. he has dozens of others that are not bikes but are still cool on his website at jamescorbettart.com.

sorry there hasn’t been a ton of new content on bM lately. working to get the new custom bikerMetric parts machined to my retentive specifications. look for our first footpeg design, “the junkie,” made of aluminum and brass, here and for sale sometime tomorrow, barring catastrophe.

see you mofos then!

we’ll be coming out with matching 7/8″ grips in another week or two, as well as risers of the same design.

thanks for the info and pix, jay.
