tRis_sHanDi! the new guy i love most until the newer guy! tRis_sHanDi went out of his way to be our fan so yay for him.

drink beer. don’t believe what you are told. believe only what you dream. now…. WAKE!

Okay. I wrote that last night after the Suns creamed the Spurs to take a commanding 3-0 series lead. Realizing I was drunk on beer and revenge, I decided to turn off the computer at this point, before I started writing poetry, and call a few friends back in PHX to share in maniacal laughter. Just when you all thought, “thank *** football season is over so Trent can back to motorcycle stuff,” you now find I’m a Suns fan. Sorry, guys.

My father has been a season ticket holder since 1967, the Suns first year, and the year I was born. Coincidentally, the Saints were born in ’67 as well. Nice. All I can say now is I underestimated this team all year long, and after their home court loss to start their first-round series against Portland, they’ve proven to be gritty and unflinching in their quest for a championship, and I think they are getting one this year. Wow. The Lakers ought to be very afraid. That series ought to be a blast.

Jeff hipped me to this today, the Falcon Kestrel:

Nice job, guys. Supposedly over 2,000 hours were spent on it. Really? Wow. Bet the buyer paid 100k. It’s pretty but I don’t see 2,000 hours, unless sitting around and staring at it counts. I do that all the time. Also, I haven’t seen the machine up close, and there’s a difference between a photo 600 pixels wide on a monitor and an entire motorcycle in 3D one foot away from you.

One day I’ll find out what took 2,000 hours. Until then, go for your dreams.

Snagged those two images from Cafe Racer Iceland. Bet it’s a bit more affordable than a Falcon.

Check out these guys at Kyoto Fang Engineering. Lots of clean metric choppers.

Shinya and Ayu’s Ducati 750 built for my NOLA homie Brad Pitt. Shinya’s just finished another Duc, this one based on a 999 sportbike motor. You can read about that bike by clicking here.

NOTE: No. You can’t afford it, either.
